buying your home

Guess What? You're A Homeowner!

At closing, you'll be asked to review and sign several documents. The sheer amount of paperwork can be daunting, but be sure to ask questions about anything you don't understand. During closing:

  1. Quickly sign everything, so the process can be promptly completed.

  2. Only sign a document once you fully grasp its meaning.

  3. Ask your realtor to co-sign each document, to show that he/she has participated in the process.

The correct answer is "B". Carefully read and sign all documents. The promises you make at closing will affect your life as a homeowner for years to come.
